Due to new Meningitis immunization requirements for the 2022-2023 school year, students who will be entering 7th,8th, 9th,10th,11th and 12th grade in the fall will be required to provide proof of having received the meningitis shot.  Written proof will need to be submitted prior to September 1, 2022, otherwise your child will not be permitted to attend school.  Letters were sent to parents if your child was in need of the meningitis shot.  Children usually receive their first dose at 11-12 years of age and would receive a booster at 16 years of age.  A booster is not needed if your child is given their first dose at 16 years of age or older.  Please contact Kim Brown, RN @ 353-6631 ext 38153 if you have any questions.
