TOLL-FREE NUMBER OF THE OFFICE OF CHILDREN AND FAMILY SERVICES
Effective January 17, 2017, Section 409-1 of the Education Law, was adopted and requires that all public school districts post the toll-free telephone number (1-800-342-3720) of the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) to receive reports of child abuse or neglect, along with directions for accessing the OCFS website at http://ocfs.ny.gov/main/cps/ in English and in Spanish.
